 main function Introduction of Wiegand card readers

(1) Orientation Identificationof Wiegand card readers

   The DVL-106C RFID  long distance reader adopts the infrared and radio frequency synchronous communication technology. Only in the infrared scanning scope can the 60 degree infrared signal exchange with the internal code (card number). At present, this technology is the only one that can solve the strict direction orientation.


(2)Adjustment of the reading distance of Wiegand card readers

   The DVL-106C RFID  long distance Reader can stably identify 15 meters and the signal can penetrate into the cars’ anti-explosion metal film. In order to achieve 3-15 meters identification, the DVL-106C RFID  long distance reader can be adjusted according to the actual needs when installed.


(3)Dormancy to Save Electricity of Wiegand card readers

The electronic card of DVL-106C RFID  long distance reader used with the RFID adopts the latest dormant activation. There is no energy consumption when the RFID tag is standby. When the RFID tag enters the infrared scanning area of our RFID  long distance reader, the RFID tag will be activated and turn on the power automatically to send the internal code (card number) to our RFID long distance reader. When the RFID tag leaves the area, our RFID tag will turn off the power and become dormancy. Therefore, it greatly extends the card’s battery life.


(4) Zero-interference of Wiegand card readers(Machine Code Validation Technology)

   Every DVL-106C RFID  long distance reader has its own machine code. It sends out 60 degree infrared signal and its machine code simultaneously. After waken up by the infrared scanning signal, the RFID tag will send its number and the machine code. When the RFID  long distance reader receives the RFID tag number and the machine code, it will check the number firstly. If the RFID tag number matches with the RFID  long distance reader, the RFID  long distance reader is effective and if not, it will be deleted automatically. RFID  long distance reader needs to set up different machine codes while many RFID long distance  readers are used at the same time in order to solve the interference of cars in the vicinage lanes or the following cars and many other issues.


(5) Reading Styles of Wiegand card readers

   RFID  long distance reader has two kinds of reading styles: Reading by loop detector and automatic reading. The factory default of our RFID  long distance reader is the latter one (automatic card reader). If you want to change it, please refer to the introduction of rfid  long distance reader


(6)Uploading Tag Number Alternately of Wiegand card readers

  The RFID  long distance reader can read tags’ number continually. The time interval of rfid  long distance reader can be set up freely so as to prevent uploading too fast to cause death to the system controller. The factory’s default of rfid long distance  reader is two seconds at one time.


(7)Working Mode of Wiegand card readers   

RFID  long distance reader has automatic mode and manual mode. The automatic mode of rfid  long distance reader applies to the open-air car  parking management system. In the underground car parking lot, please set the rfid  long distance reader  to the manual mode and adjust the signal’s strength  until the RFID long distance reader can read directionally, because infrared signal may be reflected in the closed space which can cause non-directional card reading.


(8) Automatic adjustment of the signal’s strength of Wiegand card readers

The RFID  long distance reader uses environmental sensor technology. In the automatic mode signal the RFID  long distance reader  can be adjusted automatically according to the changes of environment so as to ensure the RFID  long distance reader works in the most stable state


(9)Multiple Interface Output of Wiegand card readers

   This RFID  long distance reader has four kinds of interface output: Wiegand26,Wiegand34,Active 485,Passive485,which can be set according to the requirements.


(10) Self-detection of the signal interference of Wiegand card readers  

This RFID  long distance reader can detect the signal interference automatically. When RFID  long distance reader detects the same radio frequency, the high frequency of power or other interference, the blue LED of rfid  long distance reader will blink. It needs people to eliminate the sources of interference if they affect the communication between the RFID  long distance reader and the RFID tag.
